Applied Education Model
OSTİM Technical University is located in one of Turkey’s key business and finance hubs, which has made significant contributions to the country’s industrialization. To leverage this wealth of experience, the university places great emphasis on applied education alongside theoretical knowledge. Starting from the first year, our students will gain hands-on experience in real workplace settings, where they will develop observation, application, innovation, and management skills.
Entrepreneurship Transcript
At the core of OSTİM Technical University’s mission is instilling an entrepreneurial mindset, skill set, and competence in every student. The Entrepreneurship Transcript is a tracking system that evaluates each student's performance based on predetermined or subsequently accepted entrepreneurial activities. When students reach a specific threshold of achievement, they are rewarded. Students who meet the required success level may receive startup capital support for their designs, products, services, or projects; job opportunities at OSTİM Technopark; assistance in finding business partners; and international internship opportunities.
Distinctive Courses
Our faculty’s curriculum includes a range of courses and activities designed to help students easily adapt to university life, support their academic studies, and contribute to their personal development. Courses such as Introduction to University Life, Building the Future, and Entrepreneurship Project promote active engagement, intellectual curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and a sense of responsibility. These courses also foster entrepreneurial skills such as innovation, implementation, commercialization, and company formation.
